Our client is seeking Grants Accounting Manager!

Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, business administration or closely related field. Five (5) years progressively responsible accounting and supervisory experience and federal and state grant knowledge. Demonstrated success in personnel management and office coordination. Thorough knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting procedures and internal accounting controls. Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines. Excellent organizations skills: the ability to multi-task, learn quickly, and work independently and productively in a fast-paced and detailed-oriented environment. Ability to communicate effectively to administrators, auditors, board members, outside organizations and other stakeholders.

Knowledge and understanding of grant reporting compliance processes including Federal and State rules and regulations. Ability to work in a team environment with project managers managing multiple deadlines and grant requirements. Demonstrated ability of problem solving, analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making. Must use good judgement and discretion as well as maintain confidentiality.

Physical Requirements:

• Most of the job is sedentary, however, occasional periods of light work may be required;
• Lifting up to approximately 35 lbs. occasionally.
• The worker may be exposed to primarily to inside office conditions.
• Visual acuity appropriate for an administrative position
• Occasional travel may be required
