Our modern, patient-focused facility delivers comprehensive therapies for patients requiring extended hospital stays. Rather than chronic care, the Baylor Scott & White Continuing Care Hospital provides acute care, which involves active but short-term treatment following a severe medical condition or during recovery from surgery. Every decision made is in the best interest of staff and the patients.Job Summary: Registered Nurse Charge oversees patient care, follows nursing regulations, and fulfills the organization's priorities. This enhances responsibility to promote the mission. The main tasks involve evaluating patients, identifying nursing diagnoses, creating personalized care plans, and assessing patient responses.Essential Functions of the Role:Utilize nursing judgment and reasoning to make precise health assessments, ensuring these assessments align with standard practices.Check nursing procedures.
