Description

American Traveler is hiring a Home Health RN with strong, recent home health experience and a NJ or compact RN license to provide in-home nursing care to patients discharged from hospitals and nursing facilities.

Details

• Home health setting providing care to patients discharged from hospitals and nursing facilities
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Common diagnoses include wound care, wound vacs, Pleurx drains, ostomies, heart failure, diabetes, oncology, post-surgical, and ortho cases
• Productivity expectation of 6 visits per day or equivalent (admissions count as 2 visits)
• Required to work every 5th weekend
• Required to work every other holiday

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Home Health experience
• Med Surg skills required
• OASIS and Epic EMR experience required
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Current BLS certification that does not expire within 30 days of assignment start
