Key Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Collects and analyzes patient assessment data to determine diagnoses, care issues, and identify measurable outcomes
• Develops and implements individualized care plans, coordinating care delivery and employing strategies to promote health and a safe environment
• Collaborates with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide care in a safe, healing, and caring environment
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Supervises and delegates appropriately to various levels of assigned nursing staff while utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior experience in an acute care facility setting
