Registered Nurse

Nurses will provide care for patients on a medical/surgical and telemetry unit. This position is for the night shift, working 36 hours per week. Nurses must be willing to float to different units within the organization as needed. Weekend and rotating holiday shifts are required. The estimated patient ratio is 1:3. Candidates will manage care for adult and geriatric patients with various diagnoses. Special procedures in the unit include heparin and insulin drips, peritoneal dialysis, and wound care. Nurses are expected to deliver care and demonstrate management of patients requiring continuous monitoring. Interdisciplinary support will include physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy. All candidates must comply with credentialing processes during their employment period. Professional references will be required.
