Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients in inpatient and outpatient settings, crafting tailored treatment plans that cater specifically to each individual's needs
• Provide physical therapy interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional ability
• Collaborate with a diverse team, including nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation specialists, to ensure the best possible outcomes for each patient
• Empower patients and their families through education on treatment objectives, discharge planning, and home exercise strategies
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress meticulously, adhering to all facility protocols and regulatory standards

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure required to practice as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Any specialized certifications (neurological, geriatric, etc.) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience in physical therapy is highly favorable
