Responsibilities

Your Impact & Daily Responsibilities

• Warmly greet patients upon arrival, manage the check-in and registration process, and manage incoming phone inquiries efficiently.
• Oversee and verify patient financial workflows, ensuring accurate collection and processing of co-payments, deductibles, and self-pay balances at the time of service.
• Verify the completeness and precision of all patient demographic information, medical billing codes, diagnostic notes, referrals, and prior authorizations.
• Coordinate patient schedules by booking appointments, processing necessary clinical forms, and facilitating smooth post-visit discharge procedures.

What You’ll Bring to the Table

• Educational background acquired through a two-year Medical Office Management/Medical Secretary program or equivalent experience within a physician’s office setting.
• Practical familiarity with standard medical office procedures, clinical administrative workflows, and basic medical terminology.
