CAD Designer

CAD DesignerVenture Dynamics is looking for a CAD Designer with experience in Auto Cad, Solidworks and Nesting.Duties include:Create and analyze detailed CAD drawings and designsDevelop and maintain CAD design standards for the companyPrepare detailed construction documentsAssist in maintenance, turnover, and field layout of projectsCreate 2D, 3D, and isometric drawingsCreate renderings and animationsWork with others on team projectsResponsibilities Include:Provide input for project documentation including sketches, preliminary proposals, project budgets, schedules, and project plansWork with the architect, engineer and other members of the project team as part of the master planning processUse CAD software to create 2D drawings and 3D models of the projectMaintain coordination with the general contractor and contractors, including scheduling and product deliveryMaintain communication with the project management team, architects and engineers, project team, homeowners, and sub-contractorsRequirements include:Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or related field3+ years' experience as CAD designerSolid knowledge of drafting and rendering techniquesExcellent computer skills, including familiarity with AutoCAD, Ship constructor softwareExcellent communication skillsAbility to work independentlyCompensation to be determined following interview
