Entry-Level Security Installer – Residential Systems

We are hiring entry-level technicians to install and service home security systems. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role—ideal for candidates with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn. No prior security experience required; training is provided.

What You’ll Do

• Install and program burglar alarms, CCTV (IP & analog), DVRs, and access control systems
• Install sensors, door/window units, and smoke detectors
• Run wiring (Coax, Cat5/6) and mount equipment
• Troubleshoot and test systems to ensure proper functionality
• Interact with homeowners, explain system use, and deliver excellent customer service
• Complete job documentation and maintain inventory

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on experience (construction, landscaping, warehouse, maintenance, etc.) preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, professional, and adaptable
• Comfortable working in residential environments

Requirements

• Must have a truck or large SUV capable of transporting a 24-foot folded ladder (required for this role)
• Willingness to obtain basic tools (drill, ladder, wire cutters, etc.)
• Ability to work independently in the field

Additional Details

• Paid training (typically 4–5 weeks)
• Work is generally local within a small travel radius
• Optional weekend opportunities available

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Duluth, GA.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
