Material Handler I position at Baxter's Cleveland manufacturing facility, responsible for equipment setup, machine startup, and quality inspection on the night shift. The role involves physical tasks in a fast-paced production environment supporting life-sustaining medical device manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Clean and setup assembly equipment in Baxject II production line
- Startup machines and verify readiness of support equipment before production
- Stack boxes on pallets and perform line clearances
- Inspect manufactured parts for defects and quality issues
- Maintain general housekeeping and comply with plant health and safety regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repetitively
- Capable of standing for long periods and walking frequently
- Ability to climb ladders and work without direct supervision
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting and equipment reading skills
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
Compensation: $16.37 base per hour, plus shift differential for night shift
