Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by observing good housekeeping practices at all times.

• Use and care for basic shop tools such as grinders, saws, drills, and bearing presses, ensuring all tools are replaced after use.

• Safely and properly use acetylene torches for cutting and heating tasks.

• Perform basic plumbing techniques such as soldering pipes and cutting/gluing PVC.

• Replace basic component parts on equipment, including valves, bearings, filters, and V-belts.

• Perform basic building maintenance tasks such as painting, cleaning, and building repairs.

• Conduct wire belt and plastic conveyor repairs.

• Apply working knowledge of chain/sprocket and belt/pulley systems, including the ability to break and splice various types of chains.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
