Lead Teacher

Job Description A Child's Place of McHenry is a licensed childcare center seeking Lead Teachers to support our 2‑Year‑Old classroom. To be qualified for this position, we require a high school diploma or GED and the ability to pass all background checks. A plus if you have previous childcare experience. Required Shift: Monday–Friday, 4/10s (4 days/week, 10 hour days), 7:45 am–6:00 pm Compensation: $19–$20 per hour, based on education and experience. Responsibilities Lead and maintain all aspects of the classroom. Demonstrate patience, kindness and positive interactions with all children, parents, and staff. Operate as a team player. Physical ability to work around small children, including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
