CNC OperatorThe Computer Numeric Controlled Machine (CNC) Operator will be responsible for operating one or more types of CNC MACHINES (MILLING AND LATHE) within the CNC department.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Reports directly to the Department Supervisor as a machine operator and does not exercise supervision over any position.Duties and Responsibilities:Operate and maintains operations on one or more CNC LATHE or MILLING after set-up.Perform tasks using sketches or engineering drawings and verbal or written instructions.Inspect parts produced per inspection checklist at instructed intervals.Maintain all dimensions to required tolerances.Make adjustments to tool wear offsets in order to control feature size(s) of the parts being produced.Program and adjust part programs to achieve best running time.Responsible for achieving production output requirements and accurately reporting output in a timely manner.Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work place.Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment as instructed by management.Document and report any changes made to the machine setup or program.Other duties as assignedQualifications/Requirements:Minimum THREE (3) years experiences with Milling and LatheAbility to analyze and solve problems in a constantly changing environment.Must be able to use and understand all standard measurement tools required in the field.Self starter with ability to perform under pressureAbility to work with limited supervision and extended hoursPhysical/Mental Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use his/her hands and fingers.The employee frequently is required to talk and/or hear.This position requires frequent sitting, standing, bending, stooping and walking frequently throughout the shift.The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.Ability to communicate (read and write) effectively in a business environment.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Ability to exercise good judgment in prioritizing projects delegated by supervisor.Benefits:Competitive Pay / Salary commensurate with experience.Full health benefits (medical, vision, dental).Paid Time Off (PTO).11 Paid Holidays.401k Retirement plan with 100% employer match up to 5% of employee's contribution.Hours: Monday to Friday 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
