Registered Nurse - Postpartum Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule: Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with rotating weekends. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Postpartum care. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to new mothers and their infants in a supportive and team-oriented environment. This role involves a variety of responsibilities associated with the postpartum period, including maternal assessments, patient education, and care plan development. Responsibilities Conduct assessments and monitor maternal and infant health. Administer medications and manage patient care plans. Provide educational support to new mothers about infant care and self-care. Participate in team meetings and collaborate with healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems (Meditech and CPN). Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Active RN license. BLS certification required. Experience in Labor & Delivery or Antepartum care preferred.
