Critical Care Dietitian

Job Summary We are seeking a Dietitian Specialist to join our Nutrition Team in an Acute Care setting in Charleston, SC. What You’ll Do: Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes. Education: Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community. Evidence-Based Practice: Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care. Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence. Collaboration & Service Excellence: Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals. Mentorship & Professional Development: Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable. What We’re Looking For: Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable. Specialty certification when required. Two years of work experience in specialty preferred. Location and Compensation Location: Morrison Healthcare at MUSC Ashley River Tower, Charleston, SC. Schedule: M-F, Rotating weekend. Salary: $71,000.00-$78,000.00 (based on payscale). Sign-On Bonus: $5,000. Relocation Assistance: Offered. Commission and Certification Requirements Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and obtain CNSC certification within one year.
