Warehouse Team Lead - Weekend Shift

Your Role
You will report to a Supervisor and have general responsibility for coordinating and supervising daily logistics activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of your assigned area. This is a startup operation and requires a lot of flexibility. You will work Friday from 4:00 am - 4:30 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 am - 6:30 pm. The hourly pay rate is $23.80 with weekly pay.Your Responsibilities
- You will make recommendations to the Warehouse Supervisor on processes to establish goals and improve operations
- Operate material handling equipment
- Direct the activities of warehouse associates
- Help develop processes to ensure the efficient operation and use of all warehouse equipment
- Implement processes to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment, and property
- Oversee the warehouse housekeeping program
- Ensure current, accurate inventory control and that customer orders are picked and shipped
- Follow health and safety policies that comply with company and OSHA regulations
- Be available to work overtime and weekends
Your Skills and Experiences
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role
- 1+year of recent forklift operating experience including an order/cherry picker and reach truck forklift
- Basic technical and math skills
