Work Environment\nThis role is primarily remote, allowing the flexibility to provide therapy sessions from the comfort of your home. However, you will have the support of an experienced team based out of our outpatient office in Stamford, Connecticut. Our office is equipped with modern technology for video conferencing and secure communication, enabling seamless connection with both clients and team members.
Key Responsibilities\nYour day-to-day tasks will include:

- Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments that explore clients’ mental health challenges, strengths, and available resources. \n
- Delivering individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy. \n
- Creating personalized treatment plans with clear goals tailored to each client’s needs, while regularly reviewing progress and making necessary adjustments. \n
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to provide holistic and coordinated care. \n
- Offering crisis intervention, risk assessments, and developing safety plans as necessary to ensure client well-being. \n
- Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation that meets all ethical and legal standards. \n
- Leading group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops to enhance therapeutic experiences and build community among clients. \n
In this role, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals navigating anxiety and depression, couples seeking to strengthen their relationship, and families dealing with various challenges. Qualifications\nTo qualify for this role, candidates should possess:

- A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program. \n
- Active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). \n

While two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting is preferred, we value clinical skill development and guidance for every candidate. Specialized training or experience in trauma-focused interventions is a plus and will be considered favorably.
