Freelance Designer - Graphics

Job Title: Freelance Designer - Graphics Location: New York, New York Overview The Freelance Graphic Designer will support the development and execution of on-product marketing and packaging design. This role focuses on creating visually compelling, brand-aligned graphics that reflect key product attributes such as comfort, sustainability, quality, and a fun, engaging aesthetic. Responsibilities Support the development and execution of on-product marketing and packaging design, creating visually compelling graphics that reflect key product attributes. Create and update packaging, labeling, and production artwork using Adobe Illustrator, ensuring alignment with brand standards. Apply design revisions across multiple production and packaging files for final release, maintaining quality and consistency. Research emerging design trends, materials, and production techniques to keep projects current and innovative. Develop creative concepts, mood boards, and presentation materials for stakeholder review. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and fellow designers on new initiatives, supporting additional design-related tasks as needed. Participate in in-person collaboration as required, including product development work, milestone meetings, fittings, and approvals based on business needs. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on production art and/or packaging design High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment System One offers eligible employees health and welfare benefits coverage options including medical, dental, vision, spending accounts, life insurance, voluntary plans, and participation in a 401(k) plan.
