Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact this summer by supporting students during their Extended School Year (ESY) program! A dedicated in-person Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to deliver engaging therapy sessions to help students maintain and develop communication skills. This contract opportunity runs from June 16 to July 23 and fits a compact, flexible schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:00 am to 11:00 am.
Bring your expertise and passion for speech therapy to an educational setting committed to student growth. Your skills will be essential in providing continuity of care and helping learners achieve their summer goals.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active SLP license for the state of Pennsylvania
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Recent experience in school-based settings, especially ESY or summer programs, is a plus
- Strong commitment to evidence-based practices and individualized student care
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language therapy sessions for ESY students in-person
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to maximize student success
- Maintain accurate session documentation and progress reports
- Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment
