About the Role:

S & A Property Preservation Group is looking for a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team in Bloomfield, NJ! This is a great opportunity to put your trade skills to work across a variety of hands-on tasks while being part of a dedicated property services team. Responsibilities:

• Perform general repairs and maintenance across residential and commercial properties
• Complete carpentry, drywall, painting, and flooring tasks as needed
• Handle plumbing and electrical repairs within scope of expertise
• Conduct property inspections and identify maintenance issues
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and up to quality standards
• Communicate job status and progress updates to supervisors and clients
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicles in good working condition

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Handyman or in a general maintenance/repair role
• Working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and painting
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and basic blueprints
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions
