Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team at Memory Care Center at Emerald, a leading skilled nursing facility committed to providing exceptional care to our residents. The CMA will play a crucial role in administering medications, monitoring resident health, communicating any changes or needs to the Charge Nurse, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all individuals under our care.

Responsibilities:

• Medication Administration: Accurately administer prescribed medications to residents in accordance with facility protocols and physician orders.
• Resident Monitoring: Observe and document changes in residents' conditions, including vital signs and any adverse reactions to medications.
• Communication: Communicate observations and concerns to the nursing staff and assist with any necessary follow-up actions.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and organized medication storage area and work area.
• Resident Support: Provide compassionate and respectful assistance to residents, addressing their needs and preferences.
• Documentation: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current certification as a Medication Aide (CMA) as required by Oklahoma regulations.
