Overview Customer Service Associate - Temporary at Walgreens. This role offers base pay range of $15.00/hr - $17.50/hr. The actual pay will be based on skills and experience. Base pay range $15.00/hr - $17.50/hr Responsibilities Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive experience. Models and shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits. Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service; recommends items and trade-up or companion items when appropriate. Handles purchases, cash handling, returns, exchanges, rain checks, and voids as needed; keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; checks in and prices merchandise as directed. Implements asset protection procedures to minimize loss and ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products. Constructs and maintains displays; completes resets and revisions as directed. Assists with product placement, stock rotation (FOI - first in, first out), and restock as needed. Assists with photo area services (digital passport photos, poster printing, promotional photo products) and web pick-up responsibilities (monitors orders and delivers items to customers). Maintains store cleanliness and appearance; follows company policies and maintains respectful relationships with coworkers. Completes special assignments as needed. Training & Personal Development Attends training and completes PPLs as requested by Manager or corporate. Basic Qualifications Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico) Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours. Preferred Qualifications Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment. Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
