Campus Retail Team Lead - Georgian Court University Bookstore

Pay Rate – $18.00 – $21.94 per hour Position Overview Campus Store Leader supports a Market Leader or Campus Store Manager in overseeing store operations, driving sales growth, and delivering brand & operational excellence. The role ensures an engaging customer service experience, mentors team members, and monitors financial metrics and store performance. Responsibilities Driving Results/Sales: Execute store plans and daily operations for both traditional and rush periods; manage sales promotions, financial reviews, cash handling, inventory control, visual merchandizing, security, markups/markdowns, and in‑store course material activities. Talent Management: Supervise team members (FT/PT & seasonal), train and coach on standards, onboard new hires, schedule hours, and provide coverage during breaks, lunch, vacation, or peak periods. Customer Service: Provide an engaging service culture, greet customers, answer phones, resolve issues, drive market growth initiatives such as POS email collection, maintain service levels for OMS Orders, and address customer feedback. Campus Relationships: Communicate and partner with campus staff, share daily operational updates, and facilitate campus events. Other duties as assigned to support general store operations. Strong organizational, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills. Strong customer service, communication, and presentation skills. Strong analytical skills and financial acumen. Advanced relationship building, demonstrated ability to influence a team, and customer outreach. General computer skills.
