Possible straight time overtime and a 9/80 work schedule (every other Friday off) ** RequiredTypically requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering and may be expected to have a related master's degree and normally possess 10-15 years of related experience.Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, aerospace, electrical, or related field); advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in EVA spacesuit systems or life support hardware development.Demonstrated expertise in mechanical and electrical system design, test engineering, and system integration.Strong knowledge of NASA test processes, safety protocols, and certification standards.Excellent communication skills and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.Preferred Experience with oxygen systems, thermal control systems, or pressure garment components.Proficiency with LabView, data acquisition systems, and test automation tools.Familiarity with electro-mechanical components such as pumps, valves, sensors, and heating elements.Prior experience supporting Artemis, ISS, or commercial EVA programs.
