Laundry/Housekeeping Supervisor

Downs Care and Rehab in Downs, KS is looking to hire a Full Time Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor to join our team. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOUSEKEEPER/LAUNDRY SUPERVISOR As the Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor, you play a vital role in our community. You clean the resident rooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas, and you are responsible for scheduling and supervising other laundry/housekeeping personnel. With a close eye for detail, you ensure quality and deep cleaning for residents’ rooms after discharge and prepare rooms for new admissions. In addition, you collect soiled laundry, lines, and garments; wash and dry laundry per instruction; separate, fold, and/or hang garments and deliver them to the respective areas. You take great care to enhance safety and sanitary conditions, comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, maintain knowledge of and follow all company policies and procedures, and provide excellent customer service while building relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have the ability to follow written and oral instructions. Housekeeping or laundry experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn is necessary. Solid communication skills, attention to detail, and multi‑tasking abilities. Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficiently to perform job duties and to interact with residents, vendors, and team members.

WORK SCHEDULE
