Should have knowledge of treatment and stabilization of all patients, as well as all definitive techniques within their scope of practice and limitations of their certification, as governed by the Department of Public Health. This position will care for patients in the neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric age groups. Employee performs clinical duties in accordance with population specific guidelines and adheres to the Georgia Department of Public health, as outlined by the Georgia Office of EMS and Trauma. # **Minimum Job Qualifications*** **Licensure or other certifications:** State certification as Emergency Medical Technician.* **Educational Requirements:** High School Diploma or GED* **Minimum Experience:** Level I--no experience. Pay commensurate on experience, but not required.* **Other:** As approved by State of Georgia Department of Public Health to include emergency vehicle operation.# **Preferred Job Qualifications*** **Preferred Licensure or other certifications:*** **Preferred Educational Requirements:*** **Preferred Experience:*** **Other:**# **Job Specific and Unique Knowledge, Skills and Abilities*** Competent in the administration of epinephrine auto-injectors for anaphylaxis* Perform pulse oximetry and blood glucose measurements and interpretation* Can perform administration of pre-measured unit doses of nebulized bronchodilator* Competent in the administration of oxygen using the nasal cannula or mask designed for delivery of oxygen.
