Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality pediatric therapy services to children with a variety of developmental and physical needs. Responsibilities * Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients * Provide direct patient care while ensuring safety, comfort, and engagement during therapy sessions * Support children in improving mobility, strength, coordination, balance, and functional independence * Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist * Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, mobility strategies, and home programs * Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and outcomes * Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support comprehensive patient care * Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities * Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, patient confidentiality, and ethical care Qualifications * Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program * Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant * Pediatric experience preferred, but not required * Strong understanding of pediatric physical therapy techniques and therapeutic interventions * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when working with children and families * Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment * Home health or community-based therapy experience is a plus Benefits & Perks * Flexible scheduling opportunities * Supportive and collaborative work environment * Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives * Professional growth and continuing education support * Competitive compensation based on experience Company Description Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC): a medical daycare for children from 0 to 21 years old, where compassionate care is provided by specialized team of professionals including nurses, nurse's aide, physical therapist, occupational therapist and speech and language pathologists in consultation with medical doctors."
