Key qualifications and experience desired:

• Valid teaching credentials in Special Education or eligibility to obtain required certification
• Experience or interest in working with K-12 students in a school setting
• Familiarity with speech-language pathology and related fields (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, SLPA, SLP in Pediatrics, Healthcare, or School settings)
• Commitment to in-person instruction (teletherapy/voco is not part of this role)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families
• Positive, student-centered approach to teaching and learning

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering specialized instruction tailored to students’ IEP goals
• Managing a full K-12 caseload, adapting teaching strategies to diverse needs
• Maintaining accurate, compliant student records and documentation
• Collaborating on multidisciplinary teams, including SLPs and related service providers
• Engaging families and offering guidance to support student progress
• Participating in ongoing professional development and training
