Our organization is in search of skilled Anesthesiologists for a locum tenens position in Virginia. This role within a high-acuity hospital provides flexible scheduling, a supervision model, and a diverse array of adult and pediatric cases.

• Work Setting: Hospital surgical unit

• Schedule: Options for 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts; includes weeknight and weekend on-call duties

• Call: Availability for weeknight and/or weekend calls is required

• Support Staff: Supervision model with 2-3 CRNAs assigned per anesthesiologist

• Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Adults, healthy pediatric patients, obstetrics

  • Spinal anesthesia, regional anesthesia, orthopedic, neurological (head/spine), and vascular procedures

  • Management of ventilation, arterial lines, and central lines

• Experience Requirements: Candidates must be adept with a comprehensive case mix; MDs are expected to perform spinal and epidural placements

• EMR: EPIC
