Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Sentara Medical Group is recruiting for an Advanced Practice Provider in Elizabeth City, NC for our Thunder Road Walk in Clinic. We are looking for a flexible, energetic, highly motivated candidate who demonstrate strong relationship building skills and strong clinical skills.

Position Highlights:

Full Time - 40 Hours per week- 4, 10 hours shifts
4 physicians, 6 nurse practitioner in the Walk in
No Call Schedule
Average of 100-125 patients a week
Highly collaborative group in Walk In Care

Education

Master's Level Degree- Nurse Practitioner

Certification/Licensure

Registered Nurse License (RN) - Nursing License - Compact/Multi-State License
Authorization to Prescribe License - Certification - Other/National
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
Physician Assistant License (PA) - State License - Other/National
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Certification - Other/National

Life in North Carolina provides rich and diverse recreational and cultural offerings in addition to our fabulous historical sites. Elizabeth City is located along the Pasquotank River and is only a short drive to North Carolina's Outer Banks Beaches and Jockey's Ridge State Park that houses the tallest living sand dune system on the Atlantic coast . Local attractions include The Pines Golf & Country Club, Museum of the Albemarle and College of the Albemarle's Performing Art Center. Elizabeth City is a rural community where their physicians are truly respected and appreciated and it's only 45 minutes to the amenities of Norfolk and Virginia Beach and 1.5 hours from East Carolina University's Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium .
