Facilities Coordinator II

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Facilities Coordinator II to manage facility operations, coordinate vendor services, and maintain building systems in a laboratory environment in Austin, Texas. This role requires facilities management experience and technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and security systems.

Responsibilities

Coordinate facility services and maintain building systems for optimal operations
Manage vendor and contractor relationships and service requests
Support shipping/receiving operations and inventory management
Conduct building inspections and perform maintenance planning
Respond to facility emergencies and troubleshoot system issues

Requirements

1+ years facilities coordination or related experience
Proficiency managing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems
Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple projects
Experience coordinating with vendors, contractors, and service providers
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facilities management software
Ability to lift 25-50 pounds and respond to facility emergencies
