North Harbor Psychiatric Treatment

North Harbor specializes in acute inpatient psychiatric treatment and care. North Harbor is located on the North end of our Northport campus. We offer a safe and secure program for adult and geriatric patients. Our adult program serves men and women ages 18 and older who are experiencing symptoms that require 24-hour acute inpatient psychiatric treatment and care. Our geriatric program is a short-term acute care unit for patients experiencing symptoms that require close monitoring by a multi-disciplinary team. Patients are seen daily by a psychiatrist as well as other mental health professionals. Our dedicated team of nursing and ancillary staff provides patient-centered care to support the patient's recovery with the goal of reaching optimal patient outcomes. Our team utilizes sensory reduction tools to assist with anger management, coping skills, and de-escalation. Strong focus is placed on improving our patients' physical and emotional health. Our team is dedicated to making our patient's experience pleasant and comfortable in a safe and secure environment.
