Quality Technician
A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Quality Technician to support production and ensure products meet established quality standards. This hands-on role will work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams in a fast-paced plant environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform product, process, and internal quality audits
- Inspect and measure parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools
- Identify, document, and help disposition nonconforming material
- Support containment, sorting, and corrective-action activities as needed
- Complete incoming inspections and assist with supplier-quality concerns
- Maintain clear daily inspection and activity reports
- Communicate quality concerns with production, maintenance, engineering, and leadership
- Participate in continuous-improvement and scrap-reduction initiatives
Qualified candidates will have manufacturing quality experience, strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to read specifications and use measurement equipment. Experience with SPC, audits, and automotive or high-volume manufacturing is a plus.
