Physical Therapy Assistant - Travel Contract

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Alabama State Physical Therapy Assistant license required to start the assignment.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC preferred. If not current, must obtain prior to start.
• Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care setting preferred.
• Prior experience with restorative therapy programs and restorative equipment preferred.
• Ability to work with geriatric patient population and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Must be able to comply with facility immunization and background screening requirements.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Shift Days: Monday through Friday with one weekend rotation per month.
• Shift Name: Other.
• Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week (guaranteed).
• Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facility units within the campus as needed.
• Assignment Length: 13 week contract with possible extension options.
