Physical Therapy Assistant - Travel Contract

Apply today and a recruiter will follow up with the details. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Alabama State Physical Therapy Assistant license required to start the assignment. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC preferred. If not current, must obtain prior to start. Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care setting preferred. Prior experience with restorative therapy programs and restorative equipment preferred. Ability to work with geriatric patient population and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams. Must be able to comply with facility immunization and background screening requirements. Assignment Details Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility. Shift Days: Monday through Friday with one weekend rotation per month. Shift Name: Other. Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week (guaranteed). Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facility units within the campus as needed. Assignment Length: 13 week contract with possible extension options.
