Phlebotomist Per Diem

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Per Diem to join our team in Manalapan, NJ. Work Schedule This is a casual/per diem position. Hours will be as needed. Start and end times will vary from Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 2:00pm. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or at least 3 months experience as a phlebotomist. Additional Job Standards Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Able to pass a standardized color blindness test. In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency. Pay Range $17.75 – $27.89 per hour. All job offers are based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, internal equity, and market data. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
