This role is part of our ET/UT product line. This position plays a key role in the manufacturing of high-quality products by supporting precision machining operations in a collaborative, safety-focused, and quality-driven production environment. - Operate and set up CNC equipment, including HAAS Mill and HAAS Lathe , as well as manual lathes and mills, to manufacture precision parts from various materials in accordance with work orders, drawings, specifications, and required tolerances.
- Select appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining sequences to ensure efficient cutting and finishing operations.
- Inspect finished parts, correct defects when needed, and complete all required production and quality documentation.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, clean, and maintain machines and tools in compliance with standard operating procedures and safety requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to quality objectives by writing basic programs and modifying existing CNC programs as required.
- You have a high level of attention to detail .
- You are a self-organized individual with a strong ability to take action and manage priorities effectively.
- You are able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings .
- You demonstrate a solid quality awareness and consistently adhere to high standards in all work performed.
- You are able to work effectively in a team and have good communication skills.
- You have a strong awareness of workplace safety.
- You understand assembly processes and are able to follow established processes and procedures.
- You hold a High School Diploma or equivalent .
- You have 1 to 3 years of experience in a Machinist role.
- You have Mastercam experience (considered a strong asset).
- You have demonstrated the ability to manage complex machining tasks while maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy.
