Job Summary

T he Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues with electrical and mechanical products across multiple product lines. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret blueprints and technical documentation, and proficiency with soldering, hand tools, fixtures, and assembly equipment.

 

Job Description

  • Assemble components and products across all assigned product lines according to specifications and established procedures.
  • Select and properly use the appropriate tools, fixtures, and equipment for each assembly operation.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical testing of assembled products.
  • Troubleshoot assembly and testing issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, work instructions, and other technical documentation.
  • Identify and verify components prior to and during assembly.
  • Perform soldering and rework operations in accordance with applicable standards and procedures.
  • Use pertinent hand tools and specialized assembly equipment safely and effectively.
  • Dimension and set tolerances for mechanical parts and assemblies as required.
  • Maintain accurate labor records for all work transactions.
  • Identify quality issues and communicate problems appropriately to support timely resolution.
  • Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures.
  • Apply Manufacturing System principles and tools to support continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Shift: Monday – Friday ; 6:20 am - 2:30 pm

 

Skills Required

  • 3 yea rs minimum of similar environment experience
  • Current J-STD-001 certification.
  • Current IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification.
  • Demonstrated soldering experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
  • Ability to identify electrical and mechanical components.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, fixtures, and assembly equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve assembly and testing problems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

 

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED

 

Pay Rate

  • $22 - $24 per hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors) l
