Field Service TechnicianLinde Inc.Monroe, MI | req32887What you will enjoy doing:Ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of nitrogen-producing plants at customer sitesSolve field site issues while maintaining and operating air separation plants with minimal supervisionInteract with customers across various production plant types, providing guidance, support, and clear communicationMaintain safety, quality, and compliance activities at each plant location to uphold Linde's high standardsPerform routine maintenance and calibrations on compressors, gas analyzers, and control systemsManage time effectively to complete operations and maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and diagnosing plant problemsCoordinate contractors and resources to support plant activities, audits, and administrative requirements while driving efficiency through strategic planning and project managementWhat makes you great:Hold a High School Diploma, with an Associate Degree in a technical field preferred, along with two to five years of operations experience in air separation or similar process control environmentsHave expertise in instrumentation, controls, and general maintenance of industrial equipmentDemonstrate proficiency in mechanical and electrical maintenance, including compressors, with military engineering experience highly regardedExhibit strong safety awareness and procedural adherence while troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing equipmentUnderstand process control schematics and communicate technical information clearly in both verbal and written formBe proficient with computers, Microsoft applications, and process control systems, supported by strong organizational and time management skillsMeet the physical requirements of the role, including confined space entry, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working at heightsBe available to work extended hours when business needs ariseMaintain flexibility to support weekend, holiday, and call-in coverageEnsure a reliable and safety-focused presence during critical operational periodsBe familiar with procurement processes and quality control analyzers and thrive in dynamic working conditions that include driving service trucks, office work, and physical activityWhy you will love working with us:Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2025 sales of $34 billion.
