MRI Technologist Opportunity

Qualifications:

• Certification as an MRI Technologist, with current ARRT (MR) credentials
• A minimum of one year of experience operating MRI equipment
• Valid BLS certification
• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI safety protocols
• Excellent patient interaction and communication abilities
• High proficiency with PACS and Electronic Medical Record systems
• Capacity to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI imaging procedures following physician orders
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
• Prepare and position patients appropriately, clearly explaining procedures
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Monitor imaging results for clarity and accuracy
• Perform necessary documentation and record-keeping within EMR systems
• Follow departmental protocols while adhering to all hospital policies and safety guidelines
• Communicate findings and collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians
