Special Education Teacher *Up to $53/hr

Special Education Teacher position offers up to $53 per hour for a 36-week virtual assignment based in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role focuses on designing individualized education plans and collaborating with staff, parents, and administrators to support students with special needs. Candidates will work days shift, meet state certification requirements, and receive competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans for students with special needs.

  • Collaborate with staff, parents, and administrators to support student success.

  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Ensure compliance with school policies and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in educational settings or equivalent

  • Relevant teaching certification for Special Education in Indiana

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Special Education Teacher

  • Strong classroom management skills

  • Collaborative attitude

  • Ability to comply with facility standards

  • Ability to work day shift

  • Background check clearance

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Flexibility to adapt to facility needs
