Sewing Machine OperatorThe Sewing Machine Operator is responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to assemble, alter, and repair fabric-based components according to production specifications. This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring high-quality workmanship, efficiency, and adherence to safety and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate industrial sewing machines (single-needle, double-needle, or specialty machines) to sew various materialsRead and follow work orders, patterns, and production specificationsInspect finished products to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistencyMake machine adjustments and perform basic maintenance as neededMaintain a clean and organized work areaMeet production goals while maintaining quality standardsFollow all safety procedures and company policiesCommunicate issues related to materials, equipment, or production to supervisorsQualificationsPrevious experience operating industrial sewing machines preferredAbility to work with a variety of fabrics and materialsStrong attention to detail and qualityAbility to read measurements and follow instructions accuratelyManual dexterity and good hand-eye coordinationAbility to stand or sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasksBasic mechanical aptitude is a plus
