Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)

Position involves working as an OR CST. The shift requires working 4x10s, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a holiday rotation. 1 weekend shift per month is required. The candidate must be willing to be on call up to 4 shifts per month. Experience in high-demand cases including Ortho (total joints, spine, trauma), Neuro (crani, spine), ENT (flaps), Robotics, Transplants/Procurements, Trauma/Burns, and GU/GYN is a plus. First-timers will be accepted. The role demands a Trauma Level I experience in a dynamic, busy healthcare environment. The certified surgical technologist is part of a multi-disciplinary team. The facility supports a range of surgical specialties, ensuring no shortage of cases. All necessary certifications and licenses must be current and valid. Travelers should note potential emergency response team assignments during hurricane season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year, with peak months for activity in August and September.

Must-Have:

• 2 years of experience as CST, preferably with experience in Neuro, ENT, and Robotics cases
• Willingness to work 1 weekend shift per month and up to 4 call shifts per month
• Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs
