About the Position

Job Title: MS/Tele Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Med/Surg Telemetry License: Active Registered Nurse license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Charting system experience required - Travel experience required - Skills in accessing/managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care/management, and more Description: We are seeking an experienced MS/Tele Registered Nurse for a telemetry med/surg unit. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing a patient ratio of approximately 5-6 patients. Experience with charting systems is essential. Candidates must have the ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration. Knowledge of bi-level positive airway pressure (BiPAP) and continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) management is required. You will be responsible for administering oxygen and managing IV insulin protocols. The ability to provide care for patients with various diagnoses, including those requiring post-cardiac catheterization and hemodialysis management, is crucial. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in wound care, isolation precautions, and utilize rapid response and code teams effectively.
