Position Title: Histology Associate Work Location: Tucson, AZ, 85755 Assignment Duration: 12 Months Work Schedule: 1st Shift hours, Mon-Fri from 7:30-4:00pm. OT is available, but not required. Work Arrangement: Onsite
Position Summary :
Prepare tissue samples for microscopic examination Operate and maintain histology laboratory equipmentKey Responsibilities :
* Prepare tissue samples for microscopic examination * Operate and maintain histology laboratory equipment * Ensure quality control and compliance with laboratory standards * Assist pathologists with specimen analysis and embedding tissue's while standing throughtout the working hours * Follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelinesQualification & Experience :
* 0-5 years of experience * Strong problem-solving skills * Excellent communication abilities * Knowledge of industry best practices * well suited candidates are quick learners and self-starters * Preferred: Histotechnician or Histotechnologist certification * Previous lab experience preferred * Certification in histotechnology preferred * Education: Highschool diploma or GED is requiredWorking Conditions & Physical Demands (If Applicable) :
