Westhaven Villa, our beautiful facility located in Aberdeen, WA has an opening for a Maintenance Technician. Job Duties: Support safe practices, infection control, and respect for residents' rights; Coordinate projects maintenance and upkeep with Administrator/Office Manager and home office; Ensure compliance with AHJ. Perform repairs and maintenance on, including but not limited to mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems. Respond promptly to requests for assistance relating to maintenance; Provide or coordinate routine grounds maintenance Assure that all safety equipment is in proper working order Provide finish work, surface repair, painting, Assist in planning and implementing large projects. Requirements Qualifications and Job Skills Previous experience working with seniors, or long-term care, is a plus! Must pass a criminal background check & motor vehicle record check Must be willing to work some nights and weekends (as needed for emergencies) Must be able to follow safety regulations Must have a working knowledge of building maintenance and upkeep Must have strong communication skills & dedication to customer service Must have computer skills Must be able to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds routinely Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, kneel, reach and climb ladders #J-18808-Ljbffr
