Metro Services is seeking to immediately fill a Supervisor position for a manufacturing client in Kokomo, IN. This is a Temp/Contract job. Apply now!

Duties for this position include:

• Supervise and lead daily activities of production employees
• Monitor productivity, efficiency, and workflow to meet production goals
• Ensure all safety procedures, policies, and PPE requirements are followed
• Train, coach, and develop employees on processes and quality standards
• Conduct employee evaluations, performance discussions, and disciplinary actions when necessary
• Maintain staffing coverage and assist with scheduling and attendance management
• Ensure products meet company quality standards and customer requirements
• Identify and resolve production issues in a timely manner
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to minimize downtime and improve processes
• Complete production reports, shift documentation, and administrative duties
• Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Promote a positive team environment focused on accountability and communication

Compensation (USD):

$18.00-$20.00/hour

Schedule:

1st Shift

Monday - Saturday

6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

3rd Shift

Monday - Saturday

6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.

Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous manufacturing leadership experience preferred
• Experience supervising teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and reporting systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs as needed
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime when required
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
