The Role:

We're seeking a Lead UI/UX Designer to shape the future of Digital Success. Designers play a key role, from ideation and creating new features to perfecting every detail of the product. We value designers who combine exceptional visual craft with systems thinking, curiosity, and a passion for exploring emerging interaction patterns.

You'll craft and articulate the digital experience, in line with clear goals and rationales - a role requiring expert visualization skills, storytelling, collaboration, and the ability to work closely with product and technology partners. Responsibilities:

• Design intuitive and trustworthy digital experiences that contribute to customer success at Salesforce
• Translate complex product capabilities, business logic, human + AI workflows, and customer needs into clean UI designs, wireframes, and interactive Figma prototypes
• Prototype and test concepts rapidly to resolve ambiguity, validate flows, and continuously refine experiences based on real-world usage.
• Contribute to customer journey mapping and other experience design artifacts and tools
• Present and communicate design concepts and rationales confidently to cross-functional partners and stakeholders.
• Oversee the design of multiple, web, mobile and in-app features, interfaces, and experiences.
• Provide clear design handoff documentation and specs to streamline technical execution.
• Partner with engineering to ensure high-quality implementation and a polished user experience.
• Plan, execute, and report on user research, incorporating findings into design decisions.
• Solicit feedback from peers and stakeholders to continuously improve designs.
• Advocate for ethical, inclusive, and accessible designs, ensuring features and bug fixes prioritize these principles.
• Stay up-to-date on UI standards for common platforms and industry trends.
• Address design challenges from conceptualization to execution, including storyboards, workflows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups based on business goals and user research.
• Partner with Product Managers and UX/UI Leads to ensure designs align with the overall design system and user experience vision.

Experience:

• 5-7+ years of hands-on experience designing and leading B2C or B2B products and websites within cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record of implementing globally impactful, universally designed experiences catering to diverse languages and abilities.
• Strong proficiency in user-centered design methods and best practices.
• Expertise in the entire user experience design process, from customer journey mapping to wireframing, high fidelity prototyping and testing designs
• Proven experience in implementing design systems and producing style guides.
• Proficiency in Figma and modern design and prototyping tools, including emerging AI-assisted design workflows.
• Holistic, system-level thinking with a deep understanding of multi-surface ecosystems and their impact on user experiences.
• Commitment to ethical design practices with a strong advocacy for equality in design.
• Exceptional communication and active listening skills, fostering close, trusting relationships with stakeholders.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, persuade stakeholders, and achieve consensus in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
• Self-driven work ethic, complemented by effective team collaboration skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, generating elegant solutions for complex challenges.
• Strong ability to flourish in an agile environment, consistently delivering outstanding design work under demanding deadlines.
• Demonstrated success in managing and prioritizing multiple projects and diverse work streams simultaneously.
• Experience with customer-facing digital experiences preferred.

Nice-to-Have:

• AI-assisted prototyping & vibe coding. Familiarity with tools like Claude, Cursor, or other AI coding assistants to rapidly turn ideas into interactive prototypes, explore solutions, and accelerate experimentation without relying on traditional development workflows.
• Familiarity with AI-powered products, conversational UX, or emerging human-AI interaction patterns, with an interest in exploring how AI is reshaping digital experiences.
• Front-End/CSS development experience.
• Strong focus on usability and accessibility.

The typical base salary range for this position is $123,100 - $186,300 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $147,400 - $202,600 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
