Job SummaryCo-op, R&D Chemistry: January - June 2027 (Onsite)Position OverviewPosition Dates: January 11, 2027 – June 30, 2027This position will work in the chemistry lab and be trained and involved in the testing and analysis of body-worn drug delivery devices as it relates to biocompatibility and safety to the patient.Responsibilities• Use GCMS and conduct off gas analysis on Pod components with headspace autosampler.• Use FTIR for investigation of foreign matter related to R&D, post market or manufacture.• Use UPLC-MS to study extractable and leachable profiles of Pod.• Coordinate sample submission to Contract labs.• Author Test Protocol/Test Report for biocompatibility as needed.• Help out/lighten other groups’ workload as needed• Follow safety guidelines• Maintain electronic and/or paper notebooks• Author/Establish Tool Files for instruments/procedures in chemistry labRequired Skills and Competencies• Highly ethical, responsible and data-driven decision-making methodology• Effective verbal and written communication skills• Ability to follow direction• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools• Ability to work with chemistry-based lab equipment and toolsEducation and Experienc e Currently pursuing a BS or BA in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field.Additional Information The position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements, and requires on-site work at our Acton, Massachusetts headquarters at least 4 days per week.This position is not eligible for employer-based visa sponsorship.
