Job Title: IV Compounding Technician


Location: New Hyde Park, NY


Pay: $1063.20 weekly


Shifts: 8am - 6pm or 10:30am to 7:30pm, rotating


Seven Healthcare are seeking an IV Compounding Technician for a contract-to-hire opportunity in New Hyde Park, NY. This role is perfect for those who wish to work in an IV clean room environment under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Whether you have sterile compounding experience or not, this is a unique chance to work closely with experienced professionals and gain valuable skills in a hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities of the IV Compounding Technician
  • Prepare IV prescriptions under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
  • Collaborate with Billing Supervisor for data entry and reimbursement
  • Prepackage medication for dispensing, adhering to standards and regulations
  • Assist Pharmacist in final prescription checking and packaging
  • Maintain inventory, including receiving, rotating medications, and posting lot numbers
  • Ensure equipment cleanliness and safety in collaboration with Technician Supervisor
Requirements of the IV Compounding Technician
  • Must be a NYS Registered Pharmacy Technician
  • Willingness to train if lacking sterile compounding experience
