Quality Inspector

Description The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing Receiving, First Piece, and In-Process Inspections to ensure materials and products meet customer blueprint requirements. This role plays a key part in maintaining acceptable quality levels throughout the manufacturing process and ensuring compliance with established standards. Requirements Perform Receiving, 1st Piece and In-Process Inspections for work in process. Verify and document that materials are manufactured to customer-supplied blueprints Use precision measuring equipment (Micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.) to perform mechanical inspections of metal parts. Apply working knowledge of shop math, trigonometry, and Geometric Dimension and Tolerance (GD & T) in daily inspections. Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation compliance with quality standards. Support adherence to ISO 9001 quality system requirements Prioritize and manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environment. Qualifications Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications. Proficiency with precision measuring tools and inspection techniques Strong understanding of shop math, trigonometry and GD&T. Prior experience in an ISO 9001 quality system environment preferred Computer literacy with working knowledge pf Microsoft Office Excellent organization skills and attention to detail. #J-18808-Ljbffr WLS Stamping Co.
